ChessPalace Chess Camp
ChessPalace offers three sessions of camp the summer and one during the winter. Each camp session goes from Monday through Friday from 9-5. Half-day sessions are also available.
Camp consists of lectures, problem-solving, practice tournaments, and competition excercises. Campers will become more comfortable playing chess with their peers and improve their game.
Camps will be held at ChessPalace and the local park. In addition to chess instructions, fun chess such as bughouse tournaments keep chess fun. Points are awarded throughout the week which are
used to purchase prizes at the end of camp. Kickball, basketball, handball, and other team excercises are conducted at the park 2-4 times a week.
