Wednesday Knights Monthly Open

This is a month-long event held every Wednesday night. Some months four rounds and some will have five (entry fees will remain the same). Rounds start at 7:30 pm with an option to start at 7 pm starting in March, if both players agree. IN APRIL, ROUND TIMES WILL START AT 7 PM. This is a USCF-rated event and the tournament report will be submitted at the end of the month after all games have concluded. ChessPalace regular members play for free on the month of their birthday. Monthly champions are recognized and earn a free seat to the club championship.

What: USCF-Rated tournament with 4 or 5 rounds

When: Rounds every Wednesday at 7:30 pm (7 pm optional for March)

Rounds will start promptly at 7 starting in April
Where: ChessPalace facility

Time Control: 30/90 sd/30 (30 moves in 90 minutes, then sudden death 30 minutes)

Entry Fee: $17 regular, $12 CP members

Prizes: Cash and CP gift certificates
