Honorary Membership

The most prestigious of all memberships, this membership cannot be purchased and is only presented by ChessPalace. Acts of loyalty and support through service and donations are recognized and honored. Anyone signing up for a Life membership also becomes an honorary member. Benefits of this membership include special invitations to closed grandmaster sessions, tournaments, or other events. In addition, your name will be place on the ChessPalace Honorary Banner.

Regular Membership

A regular membership can be purchased online or at the club. When you sign up for the one-year or more, you become a regular member. Benefits include 10% discount on all merchanise at the store or where ever ChessPalace has a bookstore/merchanise set-up at local tournaments. Regular members can also save an average of $7 to tournament entry fees and get priority to limited seating in Grandmaster lectures and simul exhibitions. Regular members get a ChessPalace printed ID card for identification.

Recognition Membership

The recognition membership is any membership acquired through purchase that is less than one year: trial 3 months or 6 months. The benefits of recognized members is the similar as Regular members, but without priority to special events and a printed ID card.

Levels of Donors

Platinum Donor

Platinum donors show the ultimate support for the club and community. Platinum donors get a special engraved plaque and a week-long session with a Grandmaster.

Gold Donor

Gold donors show high support for the club and community. Gold donors get a special engraved plaque and a week-long session with an International Master.

Silver Donor

Silver donors show their support with a total accumulation of $1,000 or more in monetary or goods donations.

Bronze Donor

Bronze donors show their support with a total accumulation of $500 or more in monetary or goods donations.

Recognized Donor

Recognized donors show their support with a continuous regular membership for five or more consecutive years.

Service Donor

Service donors show their support with a more than 25 hours of volunteer service to ChessPalace.
