Sections:
Rooks: (Advance-USCF rated) K-12th Open.
Knights: (Intermediate-USCF rated U1200) K-8th
Pawns: (Beginners Non-USCF U900) K-3rd
Rooks and Knights sections are USCF rated. Add $19 to be
registered for an annual U S Chess Federation membership.
Schedule: 4 rounds, Registration starts
at 8:45-9:45am; Round 1 at 10am with lunch around 12pm and
awards ceremony at approximately 4:30pm. Giant chess will
be displayed for use during lunch hour.
Time Control: Game 30 minutes. Clocks required
for Rooks and Knights, but optional in Pawns.
Byes: 1/2 point byes (max. 2) may be obtained to accommodate
sports or other commitments if requested before Round 1.
Awards:
Trophy to top 3 Overall per section; medal to top U1200,
U1000, U800, U600, U500, Unrated. Best Team awards for each
section.
Equipment:
-Chess sets will be provided. Please
bring clocks if applicable.
- Snacks and Lunch will be sold on-site at noon.
