ChessPalace Private Lessons
ChessPalace offers private lessons from junior instructors rated 1400
up to Grandmasters with ratings of 2500 and up. Lessons from basic instructors
involve tactics- and strategy-building, analysis of games, openings,
middlegames, and endgames. Such sessions can provide one-on-one instructions
with the instructor's undivided attention. Scheduling is flexible.
The instructor prepares materials from books or softwares and can assign
homework for the student's benefits. Tournaments are suggested for students
to yield the best improvement and assesment. Sometimes, coaches will
usually be available in tournaments to give advice and game analysis.
Sessions can be for one to two students only, special exceptions are
made with more than 2 students. Fees are based on per session attended.
Each session typically ranges from 1- 1.5 hours depending on what's

Benefits
In addition to attitude, academic and chess excellence, Action Swiss tournaments held on Friday eveningis free for all current ChessPalace students. It is an officially rated event with three rounds, so a U.S. Chess Federation membership is required.
